A store with a London state of mind

Elara London is an online boutique operated by SG Media Agency LLC, based in the United States. We look across the globe for pieces worth using every day, and London is where our taste took shape. The name is not a postcode. It is where the taste comes from.

It started with bags

The first thing we ever sold was a backpack. Not a fashion piece, but the kind of bag you throw over one shoulder on a Tuesday morning and stop thinking about, because it holds up.

That became the test for everything else. Does the zip still run smoothly after a wet winter? Does the strap dig in when the bag is full? Does it look better or worse after a year of use? If we could not answer those questions honestly, the bag did not make it into the shop.

Backpacks, shoulder bags, crossbody bags and travel bags are still the heart of the store, and still the category we are hardest on.

Where it began: everyday carry that has to earn its place.

Then people asked about the rest of the house

Once someone trusts you with the bag they carry every day, they ask what else you have. Something for the hallway. Something for the kitchen. Something for the dog.

So we widened the shop, one category at a time: home and interior, kitchen, bathroom, pets, sports and travel. The rule did not change. Every product has to be useful before it is attractive, and it has to survive being used properly rather than being looked at.

We are a curated store, not a warehouse of everything. If a category is here, it is because we wanted to stand behind it.

Elara London is operated by SG Media Agency LLC, a small online business based in the United States, built around a long-standing obsession with British design.

Everything we liked came from the same place. The way a London coat is cut. The way a hardware shop in a market town explains a product in three plain sentences. The idea that something can be quietly good without shouting about it.

Elara London is our attempt at that. We are a small team and we answer every email ourselves, so if something is not right, you are talking to the people who chose the product.
